I’m a web developer based in Nairobi, Kenya. Professionally I’ve worked mostly with Python & MySQL on Linux, and in particular with the Django frameworks. I’m particularly fond of the Django web development framework, and have also been mucking about with Scrapy a lot lately, since I have been doing web scraping. I’m also eager to learn more about Node.js and NoSQL databases. Tool-wise, I swear by Ubuntu and Git.

Outside of coding, I play Basketball and also do competitive Swimming. I also watch NBA and am a Heat fan. I am an avid blogger and SEO copywriter. Huuh! A programmer who can also blog and write. That is  basically me.
